Well, what can we said that hasn’t already been said over our Facebook profile!! we had such an awesome weekend at this years rally and as always we have a few thanks;
A big thanks firstly to Craig for providing such an awesome sound and lighting rig to keep the hall on its foundations… just… and a HUGE thanks to Mikey for helping him set it all up and get it all ready. Big thanks to Pete who did the outdoor rig and supplied the sound for The Del Ray Rockets which went down a storm!
The bands, METALHEAD who yet again provided a huge 2 hour set that got everyone going, HELLS BELLS & HELLRAZOR for providing Friday nights entertainment and keeping the AC/DC spirit alive. and a big welcome and thanks to The Del Ray Rockets who quite simply lit up the afternoon on the Saturday with a blinding rockabilly set that got everyone going.
Thanks to Sami & Sam who managed to help raise over £500 towards the charity (another blog on the amount raised will be on the site soon after our meeting) you guys did great and will definately be needed next year!
Big thanks to Sam for, yet again, letting us take over the pub for the weekend and supplying endless amounts of alcohol and food, the setting is great and probably wouldn’t be what it is now if we didn’t have your continued support!
If there is anyone missed out, we owe you a beer!
LASTLY the BIGGEST thanks has to go to our rally goers… with you guys, this rally just wouldn’t be possible, the feedback we had and still continue to receive is just incredible. being known as “one of the best rallies” really does get you all emotional and know that we must be doing something right to keep it alive.
